Caroline’s technical skills teamed with an encyclopaedic knowledge of Art and Design history have created a collection of striking looking films and commercials, from the out-and-out grunge in the war fantasy Mutant Chronicles, to the elegant contemporary style of Jonathan Lynn’s Wild Target.

A Town Called Malice
For Sky’s groovy new series A Town Called Malice (airs early 2023) Caroline stepped into the role of set decorator for the London shoot of this crime thriller set in the mid 80s. With flashbacks to the late seventies the series follows a family of petty criminals from south london who de-camp to Spain to avoid growing police interest and cash in on a windfall.

Lucy the Human Chimp
Lucy the Human Chimp is an emmy nominated docu-drama for HBO. Matching and recreating archive footage using Volume. This was Caroline’s first adventure in Virtual Production; creating Gambian landscapes and jungle environments, a domestic interior, and a rooftop scenario in a VP stage in Bristol. She has since been working with the NFTS to develop courses for Production designers in the new technology.

The Great
For Hulu’s new post punk period drama The Great, Caroline joined the team as Senior Art Director. Watch out for the immense muddy battlefield and icy lakeside scenes in particular, both of which involved set building on location in extreme conditions.
